About the Location

District Six is a schoolhouse built in the 1800s at the corner of 200 South and 150 West in Columbus, Indiana.

At that time, the school was called District School Number Six, or also Wagner School. While the building has had a variety of uses over the past 150 years, we chose to pay homage to its original use with the name District Six.

Meet the Owners

Welcome!

It all started in 2018 when we were struggling to find event spaces in Columbus for our upcoming wedding. Fast forward to 2020 and we were experiencing the same challenge finding a space to celebrate the arrival of our first child.

We knew Columbus deserved a simple, affordable space where family, friends, and neighbors could gather to celebrate life's most special moments.

That's when District Six was born. We designed this space to be intimate and inviting while also innovative and dynamic to meet your unique event needs.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family and friends to District Six! Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us.
